Signal Manager
Signal Manager is a software solution that can interface
with any existing or new signal system. It can capture and record
signal data detected directly from signal towers, switches, rotating lights,
chimes, buzzers, and many other devices.
Users can easily configure Signal Manager to fire an "event" when
certain conditions are met by a given signal or set of signals. When
an event is fired, the software can notify users via mobile phone, pager,
text message, e-mail, or PDA. Logged data can be analyzed in chart
or graph form in support of Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and other
process-improvement initiatives.
Signal Manager captures signal data from any of a number of
inexpensive, third-party digital input/output devices. These digital
I/O devices act as mediators between any signalling unit, such as
a signal tower, and Signal Manager. The Signal Manager solution is
scalable, allowing companies to add more devices to the system
as companies' signal monitoring needs grow. It runs on any Windows
server platform and is fully Internet-ready.
